Fishin'

While we were in Central Texas this weekend, we went fishing. Bobby has had the itch to go fishing for some time now, so it was a good thing that we finally did!!

He only ended up catching 1, but his brother {who doesn't like fishing at all, because he never catches anything} got enough for dinner!

We feasted the next day on fried fish, fried pickles, french fries and hush puppies! We like to eat healthy!!

The Great Escape.

Well, Bobby and I got to escape west Texas for a nice long weekend at his parents. They have been getting some good rains and it is a green drive most of the way there. That is a nice change since the past couple have been so dry. Saturday morn I got up and went for a big ole long walk with the dogs. They had a blast (until I had to put Sage on a leash due to the fact she can't listen!!) running around chasing rabbits and birds and what not. Sage actually caught a jack rabbit. I was freaking out cause I thought it was a neighbors kid goats, but thankfully it wasn't a goat!!

Since it was perfect weather I had to take some pretty pictures. Thought I would share. Hope everyone has a wonderful week!!

Friday Photos.

So this is really late, but technically still Friday. It's been a real crazy week, but I still managed to get some pics taken. Monday set the tone for how crazy a week can be. A good friend of mine(s) husband died of a heart attack. So that makes prep for funeral, prep for Shattered Dreams, bible study at my house {which means i have to clean and have something cooked} and then just work and life it's self makes for a crazy week. All that aside, I made it to Friday and praise God it's a long weekend. 

Also, praise him for the wonderful rain we got last night. 2.4 inches!!! 

I'm just going to post a couple pics of projects I did and things I saw.

Photo Friday!

A sweet blog friend of mine did a Photo Friday a while back. Since I have been really lame about keeping posts up, I decided this would be a good way for me to get a post, and not have to write much. Plus... I would love to share my life through pictures, then you can draw your own conclusion.

With that being said, I haven't taken very many pictures lately, so this will also be a very boring post! I failed to get any pictures from our trip last weekend. I was having too much fun I guess! We went to the Western Heritage Classic in Abilene on Friday. It was so much fun and we shopped til we dropped. This had a fabulous time at the Ranch Rodeo that night.

There was an excellent performance from a horse trainer, Bobby Kerr, and one of his mustang makeover horses. This video will show you pretty much what we got to see. He had Pancho with him. The video shows 2 of his mustangs, though. And since I have now idea how to just put the video on here, I will give you the link. Take time to watch it.

We also got to see the Budweiser Clydesdales. One of my favorite things in life. I will own a Clydesdale one day!




Then on Saturday, we made our way to Stephenville to watch my youngest sibling graduate from college. I stole a couple pictures my mom took from Saturday!
