Our Babies!

I just love going to feed our cows and check on our new little hatching's. When they jump and buck and play I just want to get out there and jump around with them. Makes me want to squeal! I know Bobby is probably not quite as excited as I am when I get to see them all coming toward the feed wagon, but I know he's so proud (even though he looks at me like, "That's enough")! So, here are our little sprouts!

We're still counting down... but not too long and we'll have a complete crew! Keep 'em coming girls!

Have a blessed day!

Crafts Lately

I have been busy lately putting all my Pinterest ideas in action. I had gotten so busy pinning and searching all over Pinterest and I stopped and decided I need to make some of these ideas. So, here are some of the little things I've done.

My Crayon Art. I wanted them to look like children, but it turned out looking like a family of 5. O-well. I love the color!

Magnets I made out of scrabble tiles and bottle tops!

The cutest Valentines! I love sewing paper. So, I filled these with candy and mailed them just like that!
My TP roll owls. I know that they're silly, but I like them!
I've gotten a bunch of recipes off Pinterest and others places and instead of them floating around, I put them in a little binder of recipes! Love it!

There are the ideas of late. I enjoy making things from stuff just laying around and mot putting much money into the projects.

Do not show favoritism!

It crazy how God works! He amazes me all the time. We had a great bible study last night. I'm mean one that I take stuff away and try to make it true in my life. I did day one for this weeks lesson this morning and I have to say, it was one of the best ones yet. I'm all pumped up and ready to face the world. Get to work and God's like, "Ok, now put it into action, Mandiemcilroy!" This is where the hard part comes. I get the lesson, but then doing as James tells us and 'doing the thing' is another story. (You gotta love Beth Moore). So, needless to say, when you ask God to challenge you, don't be surprised when he says, "Ok, jump in with 2 feet!" And man it's hard to put are flesh aside, our feelings aside, and lift others faces up. This is not the time to say, "But I'm not ready, Lord!" Just do the thing! Our God is nothing if he's not faithful and loving. Oh, to imitate him!
So, my challenge is like James says, "Dear Brothers, do not show favoritism." James 2:1
Also, think on these words that hit me this morning. Out of James 2:19
"You believe there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that- and shutter!"
Think on that!
Be blessed!

Love is in the Air!

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day! and oh what excitement it is bringing. I usually don't do much for this day, but this year I got some good ideas and so I decided to something for everyone I love. I started with my niece and nephew (who always love candy). It's fun to do things for the little kids and see them smile. I wish I could be there to see their faces when they open their package. Since yesterday was a wonderfully winter day, I had time to do some Pinterest ideas and get all my Valentines ready to mail today. I'm so excited! I enjoyed building all the cards and surprises for everyone. I hope that they feel loved.

Don't want to give away what I made just yet!

I also decided that I want to learn how to crochet! AHH... So, I watched some tutorial videos for beginners. It was kinda frustrating at first, but I'm starting to get the feel for the stitches. Hopefully I'll finish my first pitiful hat soon and get a picture for you to see.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Valentines Day! Remember the people you love and know that God loves you very BIG!

My Best Friend

It was one of the best things I did bringing that red-headed step child home. I guess when someone cares about you, you get sorta attached to them. That's was Ace had for me... he adored the ground I walked on. He loved me without measure. That little dog brought so much joy and frustration to my life. He loved being petted and he would actually pet you back, whether you wanted him to or not. He was my best friend.

Happy boy

Bobby loves the little guy, too!
Our first Christmas

He even put up with Kitty
because he loved him

He even allowed Junior to sit on him

Super Dog
Loves his cousin!

What?? Didn't you buy this chair for me?

What's yours is mine, right Mom?

His Daddy
I would have loved for my kids to know the coolest dog around. Bobby said yesterday, "It's going to be hard to find another dog with as much personality as Ace."
RIP Ace. We love you!

update

It's been 2 weeks since I've been on and posted anything. Sorry, I guess my life is really boring! There is no news, really! We do have a bunch of little black babies running around (11 to be exact) and some red and white ones, too! I love having these little guys! So cute!

The next update is the house Bobby is building. It is rocked about 5 foot all the way around! It looks so good! Bobby got the posts put in the front that we got a couple weeks back. He did such and amazing job and it adds a special something to the house, I think!
I'm trying to do a picture journal of the progress we make on the house. Then maybe one day we can look back and see all the hard work and long hours Bobby put into the house.

In all honesty, I was not excited about this rock TV cabinet and all, but now that it's coming together I'm growing to like it more and more. The rock guy is doing such a good job! And look what I did this weekend... the floors are clean (for a brief second)! That is one of Bobby and my goals, sweep the house once a week! Hopefully our goals change once we are living in the house.. ha ha!

We watched the big game yesterday! It was so much fun and of course Bobby and I had to root for opposite teams. He wanted the Patriots to win, so I was like ok, I'll pick the winning team. I'm not really a Giants fan, but it worked out wonderfully for me! Oh, and I made a wonderful meal yesterday! Grilled chicken thighs and corn and roasted potatoes! Yummy in my Tummy! The grill and I are going to become good friends this spring!

Bobby and I started studying David and so I leave you with this...

But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7
